- Our school is a large institution - 1500 students, 180 teachers providing a wide range of courses and learning opportunities for the people of Pontivy and the surrounding area who wish to continue their education and training from the age of 15 onwards.

- Students coming to us study for all types of qualifications, such as A levels European Baccalaureate as well as BTEC certificates and diplomas.
|
|
- We constantly review the courses we offer to ensure that you can select an option that is both suitable for you and appropriate to a future career.

Normally, students on a full-time course study for approximately 35 hours a week, from early september to the end of June.
|
|
General Education:
- Sciences ( Biology, Physics, Mathematics and Computer engineering ).
- Economics ( Geography, History and Foreign Economic development ).
- Literature ( Foreign Languages, French, Philosophy, Art and Media studies ).
- Engineering ( Maths, Physics, Electrical principals and applications, Computer in engineering ).
- Administration and business studies ( Law, develop effective working relation ships, process information and accountancy).
N.B. : These are the main option; an average student will have to take about 7 subjects for his/ her baccalaureate

Shorter Education reguiring professional skills :
- Catering ( Cooking, Service and Wine studies).
-Engineering ( Electrical and Electronic engineering, Machining and Maintenance).
-Business Studies ( practical problems encountered in the business environment Selling a product and working in a shop ).

Hiqher Education ( BTEC) :
- Leisure and Tourism ( Work environment in travel) and tourism, Languages and Computer studies).
- Business Studies ( Selling, Retailing, Information needs in distribution, Human resources):
- Engineering ( Operating systems and user support, computational method).
N.B.: All three, two-year courses after the Baccalcureate as well as several training periods.

They also acquire better knowledge of foreign languages travelling to Spain, Italy, Germany Poland, Canada and the United Kingdom...
